Industry respondents reflect on what the industry can do to reduce its environmental impact for a more sustainable future
More and more, sustainability seems to be the driving force behind most innovation within the nonwovens industry. From the use of alternative raw materials to circular disposable options to improvements in production processes, companies throughout the supply chain are focused on lessening their impact on the planet. With the emergence of litigation like the European Union’s single use plastics directive as well as similar measures in some U.S. states and Canada, and retailer directives seeking to reduce the use of plastics in the products they sell, it’s not surprising that companies are more focused on “green” than ever before.
To understand exactly from which directions companies involved in the global nonwovens industry are taking when it comes to sustainability, we at Nonwovens Industry conducted our first ever sustainability survey. To get a full picture of the industry, we reached out to a variety of companies located around the world. Learn what users of nonwoven products, manufacturers, machinery and equipment suppliers, raw materials suppliers, and converters have to say about sustainability and where they believe we are heading by downloading this eBook.
